ZIzek, Gandhi and Hitler: Who is more violent?

Slavoj Zizek would be one of the most mis-interpreted  living philosophers in the world. When he writes, he usually keeps a delicate balance. His eager critics usually miss the arguments as they bite on fragments from Zizek's writings. In his Indian tour, Zizek argued that Gandhi was more violent than Hitler (See the Times of India interview).
In their eagerness to mis-interpret Zizek, critics claimed that Zizek is fatally attracted to violence. Simply, Zizek's point is that if violence is about bringing real change, Gandhi was more violent as he stood for real change while Hitler could not bring about any structural changes in the society. Here, the self styled Gandhians here fail to comprehend not only Gandhi but also Zizek.
